• Where does the registration money go?
    • The race mission is to improve health and wellness of people in this area, esp. children. To this end, the proceeds are filtered back to the schools in the surrounding area, primarily Hamilton Southeastern and Lawrence Township schools and a variety of smaller schools. To date, over $400,000 has been donated to the schools to fund a variety of health and wellness initiatives. We also have 2100+ school age children running from area schools as part of school teams promoting health.


  • Where do I pick up my packet on FridayMay 19th?
    • St. Vincent Hospital at Olio Road & 146th street, and the south of the I-69 interstate exit. Park on the west side and use the Main entrance.


  • Do all races get a medal and shirt?
    • Yes, all finishers get a medal & shirt.


  • If I am signed up through the school program where do I get my shirt & bib?
    • Your shirt & bib will be delivered to your child’s school on the Tuesday or Wednesday before the race. Your school coach or mentor will provide more information for you.


  • I can’t pick up my packet Friday, how do I get it?
    • There is no packet pick up on race day, you must get it Friday sometime. There will be an information tent in our activities area on the morning of the race should you have questions.


  • I didn’t register online; can I do it on race day? Where?
    • Sorry, no, the logistics to enter the information at that late of date is impossible. Registration is available at the Expo during packet pick-up on Friday.


  • Where do I park on race day?
    • All race day parking is on Olio Road (1 mile south of the St. Vincent Hospital) between 116th street and 126th Approach on 126th street from any direction, come south from I-69 on Olio Road, or come east on 116th street from the Fishers area to Olio road and turn left/north to go to the parking lots. Lots fill on a first come, first serve basis so come early.
    • Please arrive early 6-6:30to get the better parking, but all parking is a short walk to the start line, follow the crowds south down the road.


  • I am a registered volunteer, where do I park?
    • Thank you so much for helping…you have special parking at the Wesylan Church on the east side of Olio Road, north one block from 116th
    • Please go to the Volunteer check in tent behind First Merchants Bank to check in and confirm your assignment.


  • What time does the race start?
    • All 3 races start at the same time, 7:00 am, in the 2 different lanes of Olio road, south of 116th


  • Where are bathrooms?
    • Port-o-lets are available near the finish line in the parking lot west of Olio, South of 116th


  • Where is gear check?
    • In the First Merchants Bank drive thru lanes right next to the finish line off Olio Rd. Your bib has a tear off tab used to identify your bag.


  • Can I use my stroller in the race or bring my dog?
    • Strollers and dogs are not allowed in all races due to safety reasons and insurance restrictions. Runners attempting to do this will be escorted off the course in the start area and 1st We cannot allow any exceptions to this for the safety of all runners.


  • What activities are there after the race?
    • We have an awesome Kid Zone with activities and a pony ride area that is always a big hit.
    • There is a beer garden too for grown-ups.
    • Caslers restaurant is open for full service later in the morning too if you want to make a meal of it.


  • Is there anywhere I can buy food after the race?
    • Runners can enjoy snacks and water in the finish line chute.
    • Coffee and food can be purchased at the Kroger store and Speedway gas station
    • At 10:00 a.m. Caslers will be fully open inside with table service.


  • I am in the 26.2 Challenge or signed up for the VIP experience…where is that at?
    • On the Caslers porch under the awning…..enter through the fence gate. Inside restrooms are available for 26.2 Challengers  and VIP members only.


  • Are there shuttles and here to I pick up the bus to go back to my car?
    • There are no shuttles this year, it is a short walk to the start finish area from any of the parking lots up Olio road at the schools and churches.


  • I didn’t get a parking pass, why?
    • Parking passes are not needed anywhere. If lots get full from participant parking the lot will be closed and additional parking can be found at Hamilton Southeastern High School near Olio and 126th.


  • Is there handicap transportation?
    • There is no handicap transportation, but special needs people can be dropped at either of the 2 drop off areas in front of Kroger (if coming south on Olio Road)or behind Fifth Third Bank (if you are traveling east on 116th street)


  • Do I turn in my chip?
    • No, the chips are disposable and built into your bib


  • Where is the start and finish line?
    • The start and finish lines are the same and there are down Olio road, just down the hill from 116th at the start of the bridge.


  • I am part of a school (or another team) do we have a tent somewhere?
    • Team groups have special areas in the parking lots on the hill. School teams meet in the parking areas in front of the vein clinic building.


  • Is there an ATM nearby?
    • Yes, there are ATMs in the drive up lane of First Merchants, in Kroger, or at the Speedway across 116th or in a drive up lane of Fifth Third Bank.


  • Where is the Medical tent and personnel?
    • Medical tents are located at 113th & Olio – just north of the start/finish line.


  • I lost something, where is lost and found?
    • At the information table/tent.


  • Where do I get the timing results or awards?
    • The results will be posted in the “Results Tent” in the First Merchants parking lot. The Awards will be given out in front of the First Merchants Bank.


  • Do the new courses have any hills?
    • Yes, there are a few rolling hills.


  • Is there a time limit on the races?
    • Yes.  Half is 4 hours, 10K is 2.5 hours and 5K is 1.5 hours.


  • I have lost my child or another person…what do I do?
    • Contact the nearest police officer or race official and he or she will immediately radio it in to the command post and collect and convey vital information. An all-points bulletin will be issued to all race officials and law officers.


  • I have some complaints or compliments about the race, who do I tell?
    • You will be contacted post-race and asked to complete a survey about your experience. We look forward to hearing from you to help us shape next year’s race.



Please be aware that ALL entries are non transferable and non refundable. Entries are good only for the year they are intended. Entries cannot be deferred from one year to the next and are non-transferable from person to person. This applies whether or not you may be injured, have moved, or any other reason. We cannot make any exceptions to this policy. If you cannot participate for any reason, your registration will be considered a contribution to the Geist area schools to raise funds to benefit physical fitness programs within the schools.
